I love all things domestic. Organizing (I swear, though it doesn’t appear that way), decorating, renovating, managing and planning, baking, sewing, cleaning... I love washing laundry in my new front loader, but that only makes for more laundry to fold, which I still hate doing. I’m about as Northern as Northern gets (think glaciers - no, I’m not kidding), but have found myself verifiably drop kicked into the middle of the Southern United States. For as much as I miss my homeland, I’m sure enjoying Southern living. In all honesty, I think I was born with some of the south in my heart with my fondness for plantation and craftsman style homes, hanging ferns on the front porch, rose gardening, and...well, guns. Firearms comes with the territory, too, right? Well, it does back home, too. Alaska and Texas are quite similar, really, so I guess I shouldn’t have expected the transition to be that tough!
