Did you make this or did you buy it somewhere and if so, where did you get it? It's exactly what I'm looking for.

hi - love your site - beautiful work... i feel like i've come across a kindred spirit =) my house make-overs are similar to yours... in the way of - hmm let me just change this little window covering and then i'm paiting, purchasing and redsigning the whole upstairs... =) love it.

as for the vanity - i would totally paint it out - then if you don't like it - you can always have the option of changing the whole thing later when you have the time (and money). i just used malomime (sp) on my kitchen table - and it worked great - i got a wonderful smokey grey/black charcoaly colour and it's warm and inviting... would perhaps look good in this bathroom!? plus it's super durable for the boys and easy to wipe down... just a thought.

Hey, Not sure if you do the mommy blogger award stuff, but if you do I left one on my blog for you. http://thesuburbanjungle.blogspot.com/2009/10/open-source-blog-award.html

Your blog is pretty organized so don't feel like you have to post it up or anything. :) It's not a problem.

Hi Steph,
I really like your goals and plans. Thankfully, we don't have to eat salads. There are a lot of other foods that are loaded with fiber to satisfy you and fill you up. Happy change feels good. You can do it.
All the best, Diana Fleming, PhD, LDN

It can be addicting. Just be careful...it's so easy to buy things cuz they're free or almost free, but it's really junk. Not wanting to burst your bubble...Just want to be honest.

When I first started couponing, I got crazy and was saving 87% or more each time. I was bringing home tons and tons of stuff. Stuff I would have never bought before, but hey it was free. And then we packed on a little weight, and I got sick, some inflammatory neurological mess, and I realized all my "money saving" was costing us dearly.

You can still save a bunch and buy healthy things, but beware of the stuff you wouldn't have bought before...and try not to buy it now. :) I just read your getting healthy post, so it's fresh on my mind. :) Good luck.

Best of luck...that all sounds like a good idea. I'm not much of a salad fan either, but I like spinach and I can add it to a lot of stuff (cooked, smoothies, pastas) and still get my "salad" just not so "salady"

Also, I love a salad when it's not just green. Fresh tomatoes, cucumbers, egg slices, slices of peppers really make it for me.

And then there's the treadmill...have you ever run intervals on the treadmill? Walk a few minutes, run a few, walk, repeat? It makes the time go by a little faster and keeps it interesting. I stare at basement wall when I run and it's the pits, but I like it mix it up with intervals. And some turbulence training. :)

Wow! That's a beautiful home and all that acreage!! Yay! I would love a lot of land like that to have a sprawling garden and orchard, and some egg chickens. I'm so happy for you. Keep us updated as things work out.

Try not to forget that a big house is a big house to clean. lol

I thought we could use it as a landing pad for our brooms.

Yes, the house looks ginormous, but it really is a manageable size. I love the garden - that'll be a formal herb garden with any luck.
